WHAT SKILLS ARE COVERED IN PRIVATE TRAINING?
We can cover a wide range of skills including Sit, Down, leash manners, Leave It, Out/Drop It, Stay, and Come, Fetch, Heel, etc. General training includes enrichment activities, behavior management tips, and so much more! We'll help you define attainable training goals and discuss how to enhance your dog's life to make him or her a successful family member.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
We'll collect information about your lifestyle, training goals and of course, your dog. We'll write a customized summary and training plan tailored to you and your dog, and then guide you through the training process.
Connie handles R+K9's general training and specializes in obedience and dog sports.
If you're not sure whether your dog needs general training or behavior modification, we may start with an evaluation to determine the best way we can help you. We'll let you know if an evaluation will be necessary after gathering a little information before your first appointment. Most general training does not require an extensive evaluation and we can start training right away during your first session.
