THE WALKING DREAD

1st Thursday of every month at 6:30pm

With Jill Freifeld, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA & Connie Moss, IAABC-ADT, LFDM-W

A support group for reactive dog owners.

Do you dread walking your dog because she barks and lunges at dogs and/or people? Are you embarrassed, frustrated, and tired of having to constantly manage your dog? Owning a barking, lunging, explosive (and sometimes, biting) dog is physically and mentally exhausting. But you’re not alone.

The Walking Dread is a support group for reactive dog owners. Come and swap stories, share your experiences, vent, brag, and de-stress with people who understand what you’re going through because they’re dealing with the same issues. No judgement, just support.

These monthly meetings are for your mental health so no dogs are allowed. This isn't an opportunity for free training advice, so we're not talking about training tools and techniques. It’s a place for you to talk about how having a reactive dog affects your life.

The Walking Dread meets at our Winchester facility at 2637 Papermill Road (behind Anderson Roofing). Discussion is guided by Connie Moss & Jill Freifeld, dog trainers with personal and professional reactive dog experience.
