Let us take the stress off you and jump start your dog's training. Once the training is completed, we'll show you how to maintain the skills your dog has learned.  You'll also have access to our once a month Skills Class and Beyond the Classroom for free! These classes will help you maintain the skills you and your dog have learned, increase your confidence with your dog, and build more resilient behavior in your dog.

Has your dog already been through a training program but lost focus? We can get your dog back on track and help you maintain skills.

Day Camp candidates must be evaluated for suitability before enrolling in the program.

4-Week Day Training, Level 1

$1,500

Level 1 focuses on beginning skills for dogs new to training or sharpening skills dogs have learned but not maintained. We pay careful attention to socialization to novel surfaces and situations for generalization. Once a dog has completed level 1, he/she should be able to accomplish these skills in and around the home.

  • Three intensive hours of training on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
  • Choose the skills you want your dog to learn.

  • An an enrichment game tailored to your dog, as well as your lifestyle.

  • Weekly progress reports.
  • A Final "hand-off" class to help you transition your dog's training to everyday life at home.
  • Access to a free monthly Skills Class, to practice with your dog and ask questions.

4-Week Day Training, Level 2

$1,600

Level 2 is only for dogs who have graduated from Level 1. In Level 2 we build on the skills your dog learned previously by adding in more distractions and difficulty.

This level of day camp focuses on generalizing those skills outside. Your dog will learn how to negotiate new sights, sounds, and distractions. Depending on your dog's progress, we will work on loading in and out of vehicles and walking in the nearby shopping area (Panera Bread shopping area). We are also excited to offer field trips for Level 2 dogs. This is not mandatory however, it is strongly advised for generalization training.

Field trips are Saturday afternoons 1pm - 3pm. You drop your dog off at R+K9 and we take your dog and visit nearby dog friendly locations, both indoor and outdoor to help further generalize the skills your dog has learned.

This may include working outside, working with squirrel-like (sudden movement) distractions, working on performing obedience while other dogs and people are walking close by, etc.

  • Training directly with or overseen by Connie Moss, IAABC-ADT, LFDM-W.
  • Three intensive hours of training on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
  • Further development of skills from level 1.

  • Continued enrichment.

  • Weekly progress reports.
  • A Final "hand-off" class to help you transition your dog's training to everyday life out and about.
  • Access to a free monthly Skills Class, to practice with your dog, ask questions or further training of skills.

2-WEEK CONFIDENCE BUILDER
